On July 25, 2024, Benda officially announced the new launch of the upgraded version – BENDA Dark Flag 500 Commander in China.

As the leading pioneer in the China motorcycle market, Benda set the new standard in the sport cruiser with the Dark Flag 500, which applies the first self developed V4 engine in China, providing the surging power for better riding experience. Since its launch in 2023, Dark Flag 500 has captured significant attention for its groundbreaking features, including a unique fuel gauge designed to resemble the aircraft carrier deck, industry-first idle shutdown technology that can effectively extend engine life by reducing fuel consumption and heat, and automotive-level electronic air suspension tailored for cruising motorcycles. Its advanced adaptive cruise control technology liberates the rider’s right hand, and this impressive combination of innovation and performance has propelled the Dark Flag 500 into the limelight.

In July 2024, we proudly introduce the Dark Flag 500 Commander. Following over a year of meticulous development, the Commander has undergone a comprehensive redesign and product enhancements, seamlessly merging its initial fierce appeal with a new sense of sophistication and power. The evolution of the Dark Flag 500 reflects the journey of personal growth, as it cultivates a commanding charisma.

The name “Dark Flag” refers to the battle of the Qin dynasty, which played a crucial role in the unification of the six kingdoms of ancient China, profoundly shaping the nation’s history. It symbolizes both innovation and strength, representing the spirit of pioneers. This upgrade transforms the Dark Flag 500 from an elite soldier on the battlefield to a fully realized commander, seasoned by experience and ready to lead.

What can riders expect with the Dark Flag 500 Commander? Firstly, previours optional features—such as the Brembo braking system, adaptive cruise control, and electronic air suspension—are now standard. Secondly, the all-new “Shark Gills” fuel tank prints and dual stripe accents, combined with the aircraft carrier-inspired fuel display, create a striking visual that is both powerful and refined. Three captivating color options are available: Fantasy Black, Allure Red, and Mystic White. Thirdly, the instrument panel has been upgraded to a full-color TFT display, enhancing both technological sophistication and functionality. This display also features a custom startup animation and user interface, delivering an impressive experience from the moment the bike powers on.
