The new 948cc V4 cruiser combines unique design, modern rider technology and long-distance comfort, and will be displayed at EICMA in November.
The BENDA Dark Flag 950 brings a stand-out V4 engine to the premium cruiser segment, combining bold design and modern rider technology with the relaxed riding character of a traditional cruiser.
Powered by a 948cc liquid-cooled, 16-valve V4 engine producing 80 kW (108.77 PS) at 9,000 rpm and 85 Nm of torque at 8.000 rpm, the Dark Flag 950 offers an alternative to the V-twin engines traditionally associated with cruiser motorcycles. Its four-cylinder configuration combines smooth power delivery with responsive acceleration, bringing a different character to the cruiser experience.
The Dark Flag 950 features a low, elongated silhouette, sculpted fuel tank and clean rear section, giving it a strong visual identity while retaining familiar cruiser proportions. Its 1.590mm wheelbase, wide tyres and low 690mm seat height contribute to its road presence, while forward-mounted foot controls and a wide handlebar provide a relaxed riding position.
The chassis combines a steel tubular frame and steel swingarm with an upside-down front fork and dual hydraulic rear suspension. Brembo brake components include dual 320mm front discs with four-piston radial calipers and a 260mm rear disc with a two-piston radial caliper.
Power is delivered through a six-speed gearbox and belt final drive, offering smooth, quiet operation with reduced routine maintenance. An anti-hopping clutch helps maintain stability during rapid downshifts, complementing the V4’s responsive performance.
For longer journeys, cruise control allows the rider to maintain a selected speed, while a 3.6-inch TFT display, offering 800-nit brightness and a 120-degree viewing angle, provides clear riding information. Idle shutdown technology and USB-A and USB-C charging connections add further everyday convenience. Designed to accommodate both rider and passenger, the Dark Flag 950 features dedicated passenger seating and footrests, with a 16-litre fuel tank and relaxed cruiser ergonomics supporting longer-distance riding.
Blending classic cruiser proportions with a contemporary design identity, the Dark Flag 950 will be offered in five colours: Obsidian Black, Glimmering White, Burgundy Red, Mountain Silver, and Prism Grey. Colour availability may vary by market. Please contact the local BENDA dealer for details.
“The Dark Flag 950 demonstrates our ambition to bring something different to the cruiser segment,” said Constantin Heinemann, Head of Marketing Europe at BENDA Motor Europe GmbH. “Its V4 engine delivers a unique combination of performance and refinement, while its design and technology offer a fresh interpretation of the traditional cruiser. It represents another important step in the development of our European motorcycle portfolio.”
Unleash the Ride.
